We follow the official Studio Wildcard Code of Conduct for Ark: Survival Evolved. Any breach of their rules or ours will result in a ban.
(1) General Rules
1.1 English only in global.
1.2 Ensure you do not inflict any form of misconduct. Do not try and force dictatorship, blackmail others, create toxicity and ruin the game for other players in the community. This includes but is not limited to language which is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, homophobic, sexually explicit, or racially, ethnically or otherwise offensive. This is PvP, trash talking is okay but if it gets out of hand the situation will be reviewed and dealt with accordingly.
1.3 You may not reveal other tribes base locations over Global Chat or Discord, you may however share this information privately.
1.4 You must have a legitimate character name. It is forbidden to use any symbols not found in the English alphabet. You also may not call your character "Human", "Survivor", "Player", "123", "321", "OneTwoThree", "□□□" or anything similar.
1.5 The use of "hard" .ini files is forbidden. This is modifying game config files to gain any advantage such as but not limited to removing key graphical components (water, fog, foliage, X/Z Effects, etc)
1.6 No impersonation of MTS Staff members.
(2) Server Rules
2.1 Do not prison or cage offline players.
2.2 You are required to have the same tribe members and tribe name across the cluster, using multiple names to hide identity, rotating members, account sharing or utilising alt accounts is strictly forbidden.
2.3 Insiding is completely forbidden, this includes but is not limited to; leaving a tribe and taking items with you without tribe leader consent, disabling defences to allow entry to another tribe or causing destruction from within the base prior or after leaving the tribe. Whoever the tribe leader is has full ownership and can do with the tribe and its roster as they please. It is your responsibility to ensure you are in a trustful tribe, and if you wish to leave a tribe and take items with you then you must disclose it with your tribe leader first.
2.4 No mesh hitting or biting through walls or surfaces with the intent of destroying things on the other side illegitimately.
2.5 Maximum cage timer is 24 hours. (Rule does not apply if you are raiding, you can keep a player caged during the entire duration of the raid if it exceeds 1 day.)
2.6 The use of any creatures not intended during boss fights is forbidden
(3) Building Rules
3.1 All structures you place must be visible and able to be damaged via a legitimate method.
3.2 Do not block access to, build on or near the following points of interest unless actively PvP'ing or performing Boss Fights;
- Obelisks & City Terminals
- Map Spawn Points
- Wyvern Scars
- Aberration Biome entrances on Valguero
- Artifact Spawns
- Cave Drop Spawns
3.3 The abuse of no collision building and placing structures or items on top of yours or anothers player model making them completely concealed, immobilized or invulnerable is forbidden. This rule does not apply to dinos.
3.4 The use of unintended building mechanics raid method utilising foundations, pillars, ramps, walls, & ceilings to build tunnels and enclosed pathways into enemy bases bypassing enemy defences with the intent of destroying them from close proximity. Clarification: This Rule DOES NOT apply to platform saddle creatures or to rafts & motorboats.
3.5 Players are not permitted to place ORP zones on their FOBs or spam when raiding. ORP is intended for main bases only.
(4) PVP Rules
4.1 Do not "popcorn", this means mass dropping items from yours, a corpses or item cache inventory into individual bags. This includes throwing out all of your cryo-dinos at once, unwanted loot from raids or dropping loot when you are facing imminent death or base wipe. Overburdening yourself is the only exception to dropping gear to free up weight during active Open-World PvP.
4.2 Tribes are not permitted to "team" when it comes to PvP. This includes but is not limited to things suich as; Joint raids against one or more tribes (10 v 5 etc), defending a tribe from another tribes attacks to provide mutual defences, coordinated attacks and more.. PvE Teaming however is allowed. Please see rule 4.4 for PvE Teaming engagements.
4.3 You are allowed to third party PvP engagements and raids as long as you are actively engaging against all involved tribes evenly and your tribe log proves this. If your tribe log is found to be overwhelmingly in favour of one tribe over another - this will be considered teaming.
4.4 If you are PvE teaming with another tribe and a 3rd party tribe engages you in PvP, you are allowed to defend yourselves together.
4.5 You are not allowed to use over-cap items, you must wait until they are capped via server restart or transferring to be eligible for use. (350% Weapons & 140%/112% Saddles)
Any structures left in forbidden areas in the world will be removed by an admin without warning.
