Over the weekend we as MTS staff got together and discussed all things Season 5, the way we have adapted and evolved over our multiple main cluster seasons and the direction is community is going in.
We are always striving to appeal to as many people as possible and every change we make there is always a well thought out discussion and process before decisions are made. That being said, we are here to introduce to you all some changes coming to MTS, some permanent changes, others will be on a trial basis for 2 weeks as we evaluate them before deciding if we wish to stick with the changes or revert to our previous system.
These changes will be active on our servers come the daily 6am BST restart. And will not be reverting back for the remainder of the season.
Permanent Change Log
Tame limit increased from 500 to 750 on all servers.
Permanent Rule Changes
1.3 You may not reveal other tribes base locations over Global Chat or Discord, you may however share this information privately.
2.5 Maximum cage timer is 24 hours. (Rule does not apply if you are raiding, you can keep a player caged during the entire duration of the raid if it exceeds 1 day.)
2.6 The use of any creatures not intended during boss fights is forbidden
3.6 When built inside Artifact Caves (allowing access to Artifacts within), you are forbidden to use Parasaurs on Turret Mode at any point unless facing a Full FOB versus your base within the cave, which must be disabled once the FOB has ended.
Permanent Policy Changes
→ If there is a large scale raid which goes on for an extended period of time, and the defenders give up and despawn all of their loot (effectively taking the ban). Then in extreme circumstances recovery server may be used for admins to open and turn off turrets to allow attackers to retrieve any loot which was rightfully theirs to take back to main cluster. This process must be inspected by an admin at all times who must not leave them unattended on the server. Lost characters/mesh reports etc take priority when demand is high for recovery server usage.
→ If a tribe is reported and found guilty for a breach of our rules or code of conduct, but admins are unsure on who the actual individual culprit(s) are. MTS staff may ban the entire tribe initially, once the tribe comes forward and discuss who the individual(s) are who broke said rule and investigations are complete, all innocent member(s) may be unbanned and the rightful member(s) ban will remain. Only the rule breakers needs to be punished.

Regarding Teaming/Off server Raiding changes above, we are keen to follow this change closely. We want our servers to remain competitive, we invite the community to give us feedback during this 2 week trial period.
